No. This practice is also known as double invoicing and is illegal. Please be wary of any business that is willing to break the law to sell you something!

In addition, the package is only insured for the amount of the declared value. If a double invoiced (and therefore uninsured) package gets lost along the way, the merchant is not insured and you may find yourself arm-wrestling with a foreign merchant that will not take any responsibility for the loss. By contrast, if one of our packages gets lost along the way, we refund you and claim the amount from our insurer.

There are a number of other important arguments against double invoicing, but in the end it's all about protecting you. Don't forget shipping is free so our policy costs us more money, so we wouldn't do it if we didn't think it was important!
